  1. Who can join ISM?
    Any person interested in the supply management field shall be eligible to be a Regular Member or an Affiliate Member provided that such person does not solicit business on behalf of such person or his or her employer during meetings of any ISM activity.

  3. How do I become an ISM member ?
    Complete a membership application and send it by e-mail to ISM-INDIA office (contact@ism-india.org). The membership fee can be made through net banking or cheque. Please note that academician and students are exempted from the membership fee.
  4. How much does membership cost ?
    Dues vary according to the membership category you choose. ISM Regular Membership is Rs.8500 (Including GST @18%) Annually while the ISM-INDIA membership costs Rs.1100 (Including GST @18%) Annuallly.
  5. What are the different membership categories?
    There are two types of membership. One Regular Membership which covers both ISM USA & ISM-INDIA and other Affiliate Membership covering ISM- INDIA only.
  6. What is CPSM® certification ?
    The Certified Professional in Supply Management® (CPSM®) designation, administered by ISM, was launched in 2008. It is the credential that surpasses the demands of the international marketplace with multi- faceted skills in areas such as finance, supplier relationship management, organizational global strategy and risk compliance. The CPSM® signifies that you possess the knowledge, skills and abilities required to meet an established level of competency in the field of supply management. Get the CPSM® to acquire an integrated skill set that sets you apart from the competition.
  7. How do I become certified?
    Applicants for CPSM® certification must meet the following criteria:
    • Three years of full-time, professional supply management experience (non-clerical, nonsupport) with a bachelor's degree from regionally accredited institution or international equivalent
    • OR
    • Five years of full-time, professional supply management experience (non-clerical, nonsupport) without a qualified bachelor's degree
    • AND
    • Successfully pass three CPSM® Exams, OR, if you are a C.P.M. in good standing, pass the Bridge Exam
    All candidates must complete and submit the appropriate application for certification.
    ISM administers the program for the profession and the public. Membership in ISM is not required. Questions about ISM membership should be directed to ISM-INDIA Customer Service Unit.
  8. How/where/when do I take the CPSM® Exams?
    The web based exam is offered 6 times a year in all major cities of India (Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Nashik, Bhopal, Ranchi, Gurgaon (Delhi-NCR). The exams are held normally on the weak end. These can be scheduled at your office premises if the numbers of candidates are more than 10. The exams in held during February, April, June, August, October, December.
    Please ensure to register for CPSM Online Exam at least one month in advance by sending the Exam Registration Form along with exam fee. For details, please click Join Online on ISM-INDIA site and then Exam Registration.
    Once you are registered you will receive a confirmation letter from ISM- INDIA with details of the Exam Center and date including reporting time.
  9. What study materials should I use to study for the CPSM® Exams?
    ISM-INDIA offers a variety of study materials to assist you in preparing for your exams. These are as follows

    3. Diagnostic Kit (Covering all 3 exams).

    In addition ISM-INDIA do provide free access to MyTraining on ISM- INDIA website (WWW.ISM-INDIA.ORG). This covers review material along with practical tips to appear for CPSM Exams.

    Yes. However we require advanced payment for study material, exams, and membership.
